Tim Elliott

Executive Pastor

Pastor Tim will be joining the staff full-time in Spring of 2025. He is working part-time while finishing his military career.

Pastor Tim is originally from Madison, Wisconsin, but spent the majority of his life in Kentucky. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and English from the University of Kentucky, Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Counseling from Southeast Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He is a 2018 graduate of the Command and General Staff Officer’s College, Ft Leavenworth, KS.

He joined the Naval Reserve in December 1992. He served for 8 years, leaving the Reserve to pursue Seminary and full-time ministry. Tim reentered military service in October 2006 as a chaplain in the Army Reserve. He deployed to Taji, Iraq in 2011 serving as Chaplain for Task Force Flying Tigers. He also worked with the Army Reserve Aviation Command’s Suicide Prevention Program. He went onto active duty in 2013 as part of the Army's AGR program, where he serves till his retirement in 2025.

God has opened various avenues of ministry for pastor Tim through the years. He has served as a teacher, youth pastor, minister of education, dean of students, campus minister, logistics coordinator, and senior pastor.

Tim is married to Amy. They have four children, Kathryn (Gregory) Kraft, Lillian, Evelyn, and Margaret. They will be moving to King from Ellicott City, MD at the end of his Army career in the spring.
